In a Special Session held on Monday afternoon, the Sergipe State Legislative Assembly (Alese) presented the Title of Sergipan Citizenship to Mr. Paulo do Eirado Dias Filho. The proposer of the title is State Deputy Georgeo Passos (Citizenship). Also in attendance were State Deputy Paulo Júnior (PV), dignitaries, family members, and friends of the honoree.

Paulo do Eirado Dias Filho holds a degree in Pedagogy and is a specialist in Business Pedagogy, both obtained from Faculdade São Luiz de França. He has worked as a supervisor and IT consultant in the private sector, served as the IT manager at the Legislative Assembly, and was the Administrative and Financial Director of Sebrae from 2003 to 2009. He currently serves as the President of the Institute of Technology and Research (ITP/Unit).
State Deputy Georgeo Passos emphasized the importance of the honoree's work for the state of Sergipe.
"Due to his dedication and commitment to Sergipe, we have unanimously presented and approved this proposal. This is someone who has done so much for the development of Sergipe, particularly in the areas of innovation and education. He has always been concerned with ensuring that our workforce is well-qualified and can enter the job market. It's a well-deserved tribute that the Legislative Assembly confers upon Mr. Paulo do Eirado," stated the legislator.
Honorée Paulo do Eirado Dias Filho expressed his gratitude for receiving the Title of Sergipan Citizenship at the Sergipe State Legislative Assembly. He said, "I am very happy with this recognition, which validates an entire history and journey. Above all, it reflects my love for the state of Sergipe, and we are building a family and strong ties. It's increasingly exciting, regaining energy, and thinking about new projects because it's a land that has embraced our ideas very well. Living in Sergipe is wonderful."
Background
Paulo do Eirado Dias Filho is the son of Paulo do Eirado Dias and Zélia Tereza de Almeida Dias (both deceased). He married Maria Aparecida do Nascimento Dias in Aracaju in 1982, marking 41 years of union, and they have two children: André and Thiago.
Although heavily involved in the field of digital technologies, his greatest passion has always been education. While overseeing IT at Alese, he founded the Interlegis Program of the Federal Senate, with our Assembly being the first legislative body in the country to join this National Program.
He was part of the working group for training and technology dissemination for Municipal Councils. At Sebrae, he consistently worked to provide students in public networks with Entrepreneurial Education to build their life projects.
At Senac, he personally provided professional training courses to 100% of the municipalities in Sergipe. He designed and contracted modernization and renovation projects for all units in the capital and the interior.
At Sebrae, he organized international events related to Entrepreneurial Education, particularly with Portugal, representing the entire Sebrae System in Brazil leading 13 Sebrae units, UNDIME (Union of Municipal Education Directors), and the Ministry of Education in the country in 2022.
